All

I would like to start about 5 minutes early this Saturday

Can all of you please be in by 8:45 AM ad get settled?

They said some flurries somewhere in Maryland. It is unlikely we have any and even if we do it will be just a nuisance. So, as Adventurous folks, you should not worry.

We have four great topics for you.

PLEASE remember, the early bird gets a choice of all four topics.

1.       FROG DISSECTION: A much awaited-HANDS on-learn all about the frog-where they are found, what they eat, how do they survive, why (some say!!) that they are delicious food (Oh My!!), learn hands on cutting. Great for parents and children alike!!

2.      SCIENCE OF MEASUREMENT: Why do we measure? What do we use to measure for? How many ways can we measure? What are units and units of Measurement? How many Units of Measurement are there? THIS WAS GREAT Fun last week-PLEASE allow others a chance if you have done this already

3.       IDENTIFICATION/DETECTION:  This is a VERY interesting Hands on, Very interesting ideas/Experiments about WHAT Methods and HOW Scientists use these to Discover things. The real topic title is a mouthful- “Forensic Discovery Through Electrophoresis Exploration”-The teachers have done this once before at AIS

4.       The ever popular MYSTERY TOPIC: I have been told it is being readied and will be a SURPRISE (right time of the year!!) and even adults will enjoy it!!

5.       YOGA-This is going to be a treat for all the participants-While your teacher Manoharan is away on a short vacation, we have a WONDERFUL teacher that taught all of us. He is exciting, interesting, will CHALLENGE you to the extent you want. He has travelled and absorbed various traditions-COME PREPARED to BE surprised as to how much more your body can do (Or suffer pain!!) than you realize Please dress comfortably and be ready to have funJ

To all those that told me you will teach, please confirm your dates –if you have not done so already.

Cheers

Raj
