Hopefully, as interested, involved and caring parents you are working with your children to identify projects topics that they can and will be doing. As promised, here are a few links that can help you. Remember, we are always available to bounce ideas off.

2.      All those that told me they would be willing (or love to) offer a session, please let me know the dates on Saturday. I have some of you penciled in on assorted dates already. If you don’t come and tell me, I am coming for you!!

3.      This SATURDAY

a.      We have four wonderful sessions –in addition to Yoga

1.     SHEEP Heart dissection-LEARN all about hearts, how many chambers, which way the blood flows and why, is the blood in sheep different than human blood in terms of density, viscosity, red/white corpuscles,. THIS is STEP 2 in your desire to become a doctor-learn about another critical body part.  Perfect your surgical skills!!

2.      The Human Digestive System: LEARN all about the DIGESTIVE system; What is Digestion? What happens to the food (AND CANDY)  we eat; Do ACIDS help out in digestion? -What acids are they? How are they created and “injected (??) into our bodies? How many kinds are there? How are they represented? Is the food converted into a liquid form, pate or solids?

3.      NUTRITION:  LEARN all about what is Nutrition? How is it defined? Who decides what is good and bad? (Do they really know?)  Are there any tests to determine this? Learn how Sugar, Protein and Fats in foods we eat are tested for AND Why? How accurate are the tests? Does the Brain control what one eats? Which part of the brain does this job?

4.      Science of Severe Storms (including tornados, hurricanes, cyclones) - LEARN about WHAT are these? Are they the same or different? Why do they happen? What do ATMOSPHERE and ENVIRONMENT have to do with it? What parts of the world are these common and WHY? Can these be predicted? What do they look like? Are they harmful or harmless? Can you create a Tornado in class? If you can create one can you PREVENT One?
