We have 4 teachers who are "Brilliant" at what they share. Typically we like to keep sessions to around 20 children. PARENTS ARE encouraged to ATTEND and PARTICIPATE/INTERACT (Keeping the teaching parents honest and helping them)!!!!
TOPICS ARE:
1. IMMUNE SYSTEM: What does IMMUNE mean; , how does it affect you, your body, how is it created, how can it be enhanced or not; a great topic to learn, understand and take care of your health.
2. DNA EXTRACTION FROM STRAWBERRIES- What is DNA, where is it found, what does one do with it, WHERE is it used-why and How, Why Strawberries (Can these be eaten!!), What is a Helix-WHAT kind of SHAPE is it-A DIFFERENT TEACHER FROM LAST WEEK-DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE
3. HOW AIRPLANES FLY: What are the basic laws(AERODYNAMICS) that govern flight; How do the SHAPES OF WINGS affect flying? YOU will perform SEVERAL EXPERIMENTS TO DEMONSTRATE AERODYNAMICS Laws; You WILL make PAPER AIRPLANE MODELS
4. MYSTERY TOPIC!! (YOUR TEACHER IS THINKING HARD!!)
ALL THE PARENTS THAT ARE TEACHING THESE ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE. THEY WOULD LOVE SOME HELP IN THEIR CLASSES
