We had a “splendid” meeting yesterday at Parent’s orientation-at least I thought so anyway! The snacks were good!!

Classes start Oct 12th –Saturday-Please get here between
8:30 and 8:45 AM.
Bring ID-driver’s license-if older family (parents/grandparents are
coming) as long as you (Child’s parent) have a valid ID you should be
able to take them in. First day is always a bit slower than later
First day of class is for everyone-ONE speaker-an astronaut that went on a few Space Missions-held the record for the longest Spacewalk for a while.
Address for day 1 is:
9231 Corporate Boulevard, Rockville, MD 20850
After that we will meet in 9211 Corporate Boulevard, Rockville, MD 20850 (Same campus-different building)
-We are
off Shady Grove Road. Coming from Route 355 towards Research Boulevard,
go over the bridge on 270, turn right at the next light into the campus
(Corporate Boulevard)-right at end of road,
right at STOP sign; Building on your left-Drop your child off-go round
and park (in a legal space!!)
From
270-either way- North or South, take exit 8 –going towards Route 495,
take Exit 8, take Omega drive ramp off the exit, turn left at Stop sign
and Left into Campus-drive to the farthest building
On 270, going away from Route 495, take exit 8, bear left to light, turn left at light, right at 2nd light into Corporate Blvd.

IMPORTANT:
Week 2 we build rockets-please collect 2 inside tubes of Paper Towel Rolls and 4 inside tubes of Toilet Paper rolls.
Week 3-we launch rockets at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds
